Nominate

Know someone who belongs here?

Suggest a person, historic or contemporary, household name or unsung, whose contributions deserve a place on Jews Impact. We ask one question: what did they contribute that made the world a better place for everyone, not just for themselves or for other Jews, and is it significant? If the answer is clear and reliable sources confirm it, we'll research them and add a profile. Read our criteria.

Before you nominate

Every person must pass one test: what did they contribute that made the world better for everyone, and is it significant?

Read the full criteria and nomination FAQ.

What we look for

What makes a strong nomination.

Good for everyone

A concrete contribution that helped people of every background: a cure, discovery, invention, rescue, right won, or work that enriched the world. Not mainly for one community, family or business.

Significant and lasting

It changed many lives or a whole field, and the good still reaches people today. Fame, wealth, records, prizes and entertainment alone are not enough.

Sources we can verify

Biographies, peer-reviewed articles, archives, family records, oral histories. We need something to research from, and a public record free of crime, abuse, scandal or hatred. Full criteria.
